SUMMARY

Many analyses will be conducted in order to determine component and part requirements in terms of aspects such as size, material, position, shape, etc. These analyses are done on engineering computational sheets and utilize the skills and knowledge obtained from the MET program at Central Washington University up to this point. Please see below for detailed information on each individual analysis.

ANALYSES

The below gallery photo collection contains the analyses that aid the design of the RC components, conducted on engineering calculation sheets. Please see the project report for detailed breakdowns and motivations behind each analysis.

FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSES

The below two photographs are Von-Mises stress results from two finite element analyses conducted on the suspension tower and the transmission cover. They verify the design dimensions obtained from the above analyses.
